Blog Integrated :)

After many late evenings and the use of “undo,” I am happy to say that I have my blog fairly well integrated with my website at this point.
Yeah!
Okay..so I do need to learn much more about themes in WordPress in order to make use of widgets properly. In fact I don’t have any at this point, nor do I have a sidebar! Probably the addition of a sidebar would be all that I need, but that will come later when I find a “must have” widget.
Next Up….
Next up will be the integration of my photo gallery. I am hoping that will go as smoothly as the blog, but since the gallery does not seem to be as widely used, may not be able to find as much support. Crossing my fingers. :)
Okay…so I did a bit more tweaking and now have the sidebar loading on the left which is dymanic and can display widgets :) I also modified the font a bit to make it more readable and got rid of Times New Roman!
A few issues remain.
1) Posts show up justified with the bottom despite the valign=”top” tag.
2) The post calendar widget is a bit smaller font than I would like. Need to see if that is something I can change. I am betting though that that is the normal font for the site and will be hard to change.
